Kidoti Foundation

Closing Tanzania's Opportunity Gap

Talent is distributed equally. Opportunity is not.

We invest in Tanzania's young generation because every child who reaches their potential strengthens the whole country.

About Our Approach

Closing the opportunity gap through three core strategies

We do not believe charity alone changes lives. Opportunity does. Kidoti builds the conditions young people need — education, leadership, skills and community — and measures every programme against one question: did more young people get access to opportunity?

  • Invest in people before problems
  • Partner with communities who lead
  • Report every shilling with transparency
Our Story

Education First

Safe classrooms, scholarships and literacy so every child can stay in school and learn well.

Leadership & Mentorship

Guidance, confidence and civic skills from people who have already walked the road.

Economic Opportunity

Skills, micro-grants and networks that help young people build livelihoods that last.

Our Vision

A Tanzania where every young person has the opportunity, confidence and support to shape their own future and contribute to a more prosperous, inclusive society.

Our Mission

To expand opportunity through education, leadership, entrepreneurship, sports and community innovation — and build partnerships that make that investment last.

Voices of Transformation

From our stories

Girls were leaving secondary school in Kisarawe not because they could not learn, but because there was nowhere safe for them to sleep.

The Tokomeza Zero campaign raised Tsh 1 billion. The school is standing. More than 1000 girls are learning in safety — that is what closing the opportunity gap looks like.
